In two sessions of an hour and a quarter Jacqui Sakowski will share her insights into how to build great sales relationships and how to get more from our networking activities.

The HEART of Selling

Jacqui Sakowski believes that all of life is a sales encounter! Whether we're trying to convince someone of the merits of our ideas, persuade them to perform tasks that are essential to complying with state or federal laws or trying to sign colleagues up for company sponsored training programs, it all comes down to sales! In The HEART of Selling, she will provide ideas and strategies on how to develop relationships, which will allow you to have your message be heard and acted upon!

After attending this session you will be able to:
- Understand how using sales skills can help facilitate your goals.
- Understand the five key elements in building professional relationships.

Jacqui Sakowski is a fabulous networker: by making meaningful connections in both formal and informal networking environments she has established herself and her business to be an integral part of our community and extended her reach, literally, from coast to coast. In Networking: A Mechanism for Strategic Business Development Jacqui will provide guidance, to enable you to make your networking activities more fun and, most importantly, more effective!

After Attending this session you will be able to:

- Learn how to develop realistic goals for making new connections
- Discover follow up strategies to reinforce the connections you make

Our Presenter

Jacqui Sakowski chose a career in sales when she was just twelve years old. Her first sales position, selling power tools for Black & Decker, made her just one of six women in a sales force of 120 representatives. In 1987, she moved into sales management, with Alfred Marks Recruitment, the worlds' first staffing agency. In 1992, she joined Robot (UK) Ltd., a small, electronic security distribution company where, as General Manager, she quadrupled sales in just two years. While still managing Robot, she launched Pelco UK, in 1996, which turned sales of $1million in ten months.

In March 1998, while on a business trip to the United States, Jacqui met her husband Robert, and later that year immigrated to South Central Wisconsin. After conducting a comprehensive market study, she launched Sakowski Consulting, LLC in 2001 to share her skills and experience with businesses in North America. Her first book, "The HEART of Selling," was published in August 2004.
