Morning Workshop: How Effective Are You as an HR Leader?

Leading an organization has never been easy, but today's increased competitive and economic challenges make it more difficult. Most executives are under pressure to reduce staff and other costs, while retaining remaining employees; increasing productivity, innovation and customer loyalty; and maintaining a competitive advantage. Learn how you can increase your effectiveness as the HR Leader in your organization. Join us February 15th to learn more about:

- The changing roles and expectations for HR in the future
- An effective, validated model for successful HR leaders
- Defining a personal profile for leadership success in your individual situation
- Validated best practices research for HR leaders regarding business skills, people skills, and overall effectiveness
- Creating a group composite profile for the Madison SHRM chapter

Lunch Keynote: Leadership at the Core and on the Edge

To gain a clearer perspective on how the challenges of leading an organization unfold in different organizations, and how they're being addressed, 100 senior level leaders at multinational Fortune 500 companies, as well as smaller organizations, universities and professional service organizations were interviewed. The study shows many executives are finding the traditional leadership models and behaviors do not adequately address today's challenges. We'll share the results and discuss their impact on your organization.
