In the ever evolving field of Human Resources, FMLA and ADA continue to provide new challenges for HR professionals to adapt to. This roundtable session will give participants an opportunity to discuss the various requirements and overlapping obligations surrounding the administration of FMLA leaves and ADA accommodations.
This session will include topics of discussion such as tracking intermittent leave, what to do when the employee is not ready to return to work after FMLA has been exhausted, integration of personal leave policies, the overlap of worker’s compensation with the FMLA or ADA, how to handle terminally ill employees, and other topics that are brought up in the session.
The goal of the round table is for attendees to share practices in your organization, bring questions, and discuss challenging situations so that participants leave with some helpful practices and new approaches to these challenging areas. Please bring topics, questions, and situations to talk through.
